If someone tells you they know everything there is to know about digital marketing, run a mile. Just like relationships, humanity and life, digital marketing is as much an art as a science. While we digital marketers like to think we know exactly what we’re doing, the truth is, there is a vast network of constantly evolving factors that impact how your brand is found online and how people connect with it.
That being said, I’ve been lucky enough to help dozens of brands grow online through a strategic application of SEO optimisation, Google Ads management, social media, content production and email outreach. I may not know everything, but what I’ve learned along the way has helped a number of businesses drive relevant traffic to their sites and convert into sales.
📝 Creative Writing
A passion for fiction writing may seem a bit left field for a digital marketer, and perhaps a distraction from the calculated focus of search enginge and conversion optimisation. But I’d argue that at the end of every sales funnel there’s a human being, and no matter how good your optimisation strategy is, if you don’t eventually connect with that human, you’re missing out. A great way to connect with people, is through our shared humanity, and through the universal resonance we all have with stories.
I’ve provided event photography services for a number of businesses in the Hunter region. I specialise in candid style shots with a relaxed feel that brings out the subject’s unique character. I can also take corporate headshots. Whatever the assignment, my aim is capturing the human moment, communicating emotion, connecting brands and people.
