About Jazz

I’ll be brief. It’s a big world out there; people to love, birds to watch, cats to pat, pizza to eat.

This little nook on the internet is a place to introduce myself. Hi! My name’s Jazz Andrews. Perhaps we’ve met in relation to digital marketing (do you need help with your website?) or maybe you’re a crochet, bird watching, meditation friend. Or maybe we haven’t met yet. If you want to chat, feel free to send me an email at jazz@hey.com.

What I Love

I’ve become an avid bird watcher, which has proven an ever-intensifying hobby. Birds are everywhere! (thankfully) And such wonderful beings.

My passion for crochet led to the creation of the ‘Newy Crochet Gang’ in Newcastle, a beginner-friendly, social crochet group that meets three times a month – You can find us on Facebook here.

Zen Buddhist practice is the foundation of life. I’m very grateful to be a member of the Zen Open Circle Sangha.

I love listening to help seekers as a crisis supporter at Lifeline. There are not enough listeners in the world and connecting with people at Lifeline is a wonderful way to practice, a gift. (If you’re in crisis in Australia and need to talk to someone, you can always call 13 11 14).

And last but the opposite of least, the most in fact, is love for my beautiful wife Lisa.

Digital Marketing

I’ve worked in digital marketing, primarily content marketing since 2019 (SEO is my fave!)

I cut my teeth as an Account Manager at digital marketing agency Redback Solutions where I was lucky to have the chance to work with a ton of clients and build skills across SEO, Google Ads strategy, social ad management, website development, video editing and project management.

I now work in-house at Accurate Australia as a marketing specialist. In my free time I love to help out causes that do good in the world with these digital skills. So if you need help, and you’re doing something cool – reach out!

Creative Writing and Editing

I haven’t written much lately, but over the years creative writing has been a passion. You can check out my novella Sex and Death in Skeleton City (about an undead couple searching the underworld for their cat) over at Wattpad.

I’ve also spent some time working as a freelance editor on Fiverr. I’m not currently taking on new jobs but you can read some nice reviews people have left on my profile here.

And that’s probably enough about me! If you want to get in touch for any reason, feel free to say hello. You can email me at jazz@hey.com.

I acknowledge the Awabakal people, the traditional custodians of the land on which I live and work. I pay my respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging. I celebrate the stories, culture, and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
